Make Poverty History : change the political and economic system

Naomi Klein mentions that the last person to want to make Nigeria's povery histoty got hung by the neck until he was dead. As well as fair trade and real aid, Africa needs to have an economic and political suystem that does not allow Western and Eastern multinationals, in cahoots with Africa's own corrupt rulers, from sucking off Africa's natural wealth without rewarding the African people who own the land where the wealth resides.
