I have just been watching the Russian/Ukrainian gas disagreement, and then reflected on what Russian winters will be like without gas...
The coming years are not going to be easy for mankind. Not only our lifestyles, but also our population numbers are dependent on finite energy sources.
It is clear what needs to be done: humanity needs to divert resources away from warfare and towards energy conservation and renewable (income) energy.
It might be interesting for some economist to take the trillions the world spends on arms each year, and see how many exajoules of renewable energy they could buy.
