Jobless figures in the UK are set to pass two million.
Unemployment causes misery to the person, to the family, to the community.
It causes ill health, and is associated with increases in certain types of theft.
It will lead to inter-community tensions, and give a boost to the authoritarian BNP, who can claim "Immigrants are taking our jobs".
Green economics (which means real economics, not dys-economics) would make unemployment redundant.
I am still waiting for an answer to my letter to Government about this.
