If people are going to have to work for longer before collecting their pension, they should be offered special conditions. More time to do stuff, and less burden with implementing the minutiae of the latest brilliant managerial wheeze trickling down from above.
Also, they should be given special responsibility and time to pass on their knowledge and experience.
