Am I the only one to object to the name of Hurricane Ike? Ike is the name for President Eisenhower, who, for all his faults (and what president does not have faults?) did at least have the wisdom to identify and speak against the influence of the military-industrial complex
It would be much more appropriate to name the next hurricane after the idiots whose state of corrupt denialism has condemned the world to suffer these disasters with increasing frequency.
I look forward to hearing of Hurricane Dubya, Hurricane George Bush Senior, and so on...
