NATO's Master Narrative for Afghanistan - Wikileaks

Wikileaks cracks NATO's Master Narrative for Afghanistan - Wikileaks: "Wikileaks has cracked the encryption to a key document relating to the war in Afghanistan. The document, titled 'NATO in Afghanistan: Master Narrative', details the 'story' NATO representatives are to give to, and to avoid giving to, journalists.

The encrypted document, which is dated October 6, and believed to be current, can be found on the Pentagon Central Command (CENTCOM) website oneteam.centcom.mil. [UPDATE: Fri Feb 27 15:18:38 GMT 2009, the entire Pentagon site is now down--probably in response to this editorial, parts of the site can still be seen in google's cache ]"

Dynamite stuff. I recommend that you follow the link asap, because they will probably attack the Wikileak site soon. Make sure your firewalls &c are in good working order.

I've had a quick skim, and there is no reference to opium in the documents, but there is this:
•Undermine support for the insurgency (and other threats to stability).

Buying the opium is a useful, arguably a necessary, way to achieve this. We have a very strong case.
