Blair still thinks violence is the solution

BBC NEWS Blair backs intervention doctrine:

"Mr Blair insisted that despite the experiences of Afghanistan and Iraq, his belief in military action to prevent tyranny or genocide was intact."

Being Mr Blair mans never having to realise that you were wrong.

He says extremism "will have to be confronted, possibly over decades" - blithely ignorant of the fact that the act of military confrontation fuels the fires of extremism.

Against this irrational, inflammatory thinking, the Green Party can put forward the Global Human Rights Index, which steers all governments away from tyranny and genocide before they get there. It is a preventive measure, non violent, consistent, objective and just.

One day, peaceful, rational policies will get as much coverage as irrational and violent policies.

One day.
